On Friday, June 1 Michigan Tech and St. Al's alumnus Dustin Larson was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Marquette. His first assignment will be as associate pastor here at St. Albert the Great in Houghton along with St. Anne's in Chassell.

With the retirement of Sister Ellen Enright three Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity from Manitowoc, WI will be moving into the rectory of St. Anne’s in Chassell to assist with local ministries.

After 13 years as the pastoral associate at St. Albert the Great University Parish in Houghton and St. Anne Parish in Chassel, and more than four decades in the Diocese of Marquette, Sister Ellen Enright retired from active ministry on June 18.
